Hot dip galvanization process is first remove the oil on the surface of goods, second put the goods into the acidic liquid, then dip the goods into the zinc liquid. While, electric galvanization, also called cold galvanization, its process is by electrilize the zinc to the products.

Hot dip galvanization is chemical treatment, while electric galvanization is physical treatment.

Hot dip galvanization process is first remove the oil on the surface of goods, second put the goods into the acidic liquid, then dip the goods into the zinc liquid. While, electric galvanization, also called cold galvanization, its process is by electrilize the zinc to the products.

For zinc weight, hot dip galvanization can reach 460g/㎡-610g/㎡(3-5 mm thickness steel grating). while eletric galvanization can only reach 10g/㎡-50g/㎡.

As for life span, the hot dip galvanization can last 50 years, while eletric galvanization can only last 2-3 years.

The surface of electric galvanization is much brighter than hot dip galvanization, but the anti-corrision property of electric galvanization products is much lower than hot dip galvanization products.

So for customers, we suggest you to use hot dip galvanized steel bar grating, steel stair treads, grating drainage cover.
